Air rifle long-distance competition team league starts! The German Rifle Federation and some regional associations stop holding team league competitions. Numerous district associations also forego round competitions and so the shooting sport is currently coming to a standstill, or as it is officially called "is frozen". We as the "talent nest" shooting sport in the Lower Saxony Sport Schützenverband (NSSV) do not want to and cannot accept that! What should we show our young athletes as personal success goals and role models when shooting outside of the club is stopped! We have been practicing the team league air pistol for 3 months and have received a lot of praise and recognition for this. In the same mode, we also imagine an air rifle league or leagues. The shooting takes place in teams of three marksmen each. A competition program includes 40 scoring shots. National and international teams are allowed. A club can register several teams. First two qualifying competitions are shot. Classification is based on the qualification results, followed by a group round with three team-versus-team competitions and then (depending on the number of participating teams) semi-finals, quarter-finals and final competitions. A team captain must be named for each team, who is responsible for the proper implementation and reporting of results. The results must be entered and reported using a web-based form. To participate in the team league long-distance competition, I ask for a one-time registration. To do this, please enter your club name, team leader and a contact email address in the form. When registering, it is necessary to name the participating shooters! Please only register if you are sure that you can form a team. Substitute shooters can also be substituted in during the current competition, but they are only allowed to compete for one club team. If you register several club teams, the shooters may not be exchanged in the teams during the league season! The data will only be used in the context of the competitions required on this platform and will not be passed on. The participants agree that names and transmitted photos may be published on this website and affiliated websites and that the participant owns the image rights. Fair play is the top priority! What does participation cost?


So far, no registration fees or the like have been charged in the air pistol sector. What we do we do out of idealism, just as we do it week after week as trainers.

But only with the title "Talentnest" and a brass sign on the house wall you can't shoot - the brass sign is still missing :-)


We consider a recognition bonus for youth work in the amount of 10.00 EUR per team, for our work and the costs for the website and game system, to be appropriate.

We deliberately forego prize money, the prizes can have a counterproductive effect on the idea of fair play and in a long-distance competition it is very difficult to comply with rules and guidelines. For the participants it is about "praise and honor" and sporting entertainment.

Scoring in the individual groups if there is a tie


The league schedule comes from soccer. There, in addition to the points for won, lost or drawn games, the goal difference is looked at. So how many goals did you score in all games, how many goals did your opponent score? This results in a difference that can either be positive if you have scored more goals yourself or a negative number if you have conceded more goals.


This system is stored in the game plan and is also used by me for the evaluation. In terms of shooting sports, how many rings has your own team shot in relation to the rings of the opposing teams.

This rating makes my work a lot easier because I don't have to manually rate the lists but can use the automatic calculation of the schedule app. It is also an advantage for league spectators because what is displayed in the schedule app is really rated that way and is used for the automatic casting of the quarter-finals.


If there is again a tie, the team with the most rings scored wins.

If there is a tie in the number of rings calculation, the direct comparison of the team duel counts - but I hope that it won't come to that, because otherwise it will be complicated to map it in the schedule app.
